CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa Named Hong Kong Face of K-Beauty Brand
Jung Yonghwa of K-pop band CNBLUE has been named the official Hong Kong model for the K-beauty brand OBgE. The brand said it will roll out a series of online and offline campaigns with the singer.
A brand representative said Jung Yonghwa was chosen for his consistent self-management and personal style, as well as his long-standing connection with fans across Greater China. "We felt his natural and refined image fits well with the brand values OBgE stands for," the representative said.
Jung has built a wide profile through music, acting, and variety, and has steadily grown his name recognition in Hong Kong and the broader Chinese-speaking market. He is set to hold a solo fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, on the 15th. According to his agency, tickets sold out in full after going on sale, prompting the addition of an extra show.
CNBLUE is preparing for the Busan encore of its world tour "3LOGY," along with a joint concert with the Japanese rock band UVERworld. Alongside those activities, Jung is currently serving as a host on the SBS variety program "My Remaining Love" (Nae Nameun Yeonae), which premiered on the 3rd.
