KATSEYE Declares "New Era, New Aura" Ahead of "WILD" Release with Highlight Medley

Global group, KATSEYE has offered the first listen to its upcoming third EP WILD, unveiling snippets of all the tracks through a highlight medley including title song "Hootie Frutti."

The group released the medley for the EP through the HYBE Labels YouTube channel on Aug. 11, giving fans their first preview of the project ahead of its release on Aug. 14.

Running for nearly three minutes, the video moves through a series of changing settings designed to reflect the different sounds and moods across the album. Previously released tracks such as "PINKY UP" and "Animal" open the medley before transitioning into "Hootie Frutti."

The title track immediately stands apart with a Portuguese-language intro followed by a heavy, fast-paced beat, offering an early glimpse at the direction KATSEYE is taking for its latest comeback.

The remainder of the album explores several different sounds. "Bel Air" slows things down with a more vocal-focused ballad, while "That Way" leans into a dreamier and more provocative atmosphere. Furthermore, member Lara also participated in writing and composing "Unloveu," which highlights the members' harmonies and a softer vocal approach.

"Unloveu," will only be available on select U.S Target locations and international retailer-executive editions of the album, making the edition and the track a rarer find for fans.

The medley also connects the music to the visual world established throughout the group's recent releases, revisiting the pink room seen in "PINKY UP" and the red-toned setting of "Animal" alongside new locations. The video then closes with the phrase "New era, new aura," teasing the beginning of KATSEYE's next chapter.

"WILD" will feature contributions from a number of prominent producers and musicians, including Bang Si-hyuk, Ed Sheeran, Omer Fedi, Blake Slatkin, Patrik Berger and Johnny Goldstein.

The EP arrives amid growing momentum for KATSEYE following the release of "Animal" which debuted at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 16 on the U.K. Official Singles Chart, while reaching a career-high No. 8 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart.

KATSEYE's third EP WILD is set for release on Aug. 14.
