FIFTY FIFTY's Athena Steps Up to the Mound for Her First Ceremonial Pitch

K-POP girl group FIFTY FIFTY's Athena is stepping onto the pitcher's mound.

The singer will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the KIA Tigers vs. Lotte Giants game on August 26 at Gwangju-KIA Champions Field.

The appearance is part of a two-day relay pitch event held on August 25 and 26 to cheer on the home team. Athena is the second guest to take the mound in the series.

It is her first time throwing a ceremonial pitch since debut. "It's an honor to throw the first pitch for the KIA Tigers, and I'm excited and nervous to try it for the first time," she said. "I hope all the players stay healthy and have a great game, and I'll be cheering them on."

FIFTY FIFTY released its fourth mini album "Imperfect-I'mperfect" in June and promoted it around the title track "Like a Bubble." This month, the group kicked off its first Asia fan con tour, "Still LoBubble," starting in Seoul. On August 11, the group also held a solo show in Tokyo.
