Tiger JK and Yoonmirae's 'Let Me Love You' Tops YouTube Shorts Music Chart

Korean hip-hop couple Tiger JK and Yoonmirae are seeing strong momentum for their new duet, both online and on the ground. The special single "Let Me Love You" recently reached No. 1 on YouTube's daily Shorts trending music chart in South Korea.

It is the first duet the pair have released together in eight years. Since dropping last month, the song has spread quickly as background music for user-made short-form videos, pushing it up the chart.

The music video, co-directed by the couple's son Seo Jordan, is closing in on 1 million views. Seo worked alongside director Han Sang-bum, building the visuals around classic arcade games to picture the bonds and love between people. The project sits fully inside the family: the parents made the music, and their child directed the video.

The song's momentum is now moving offline. On the 26th, the couple will open a pop-up space in Seoul's Seongsu neighborhood named after the new single. The pop-up will sell hats and hoodies that Tiger JK helped design, along with collaboration items with Gikun and Erbihums. Fans will be able to meet the artists in person and try out the arcade-style game elements featured in the music video.

"Let Me Love You," released on the 20th of last month, rides an electronic, rhythm-driven beat and centers on the feeling of wanting to move closer to someone. Tiger JK's rap and Yoonmirae's vocals sit side by side on the track, showing the long musical chemistry the two have built together.
