YUQI of i-dle Unveils First Concept Photo for Solo EP '27'

i-dle member YUQI is gearing up for her second solo return with a self-written EP. Her agency, Cube Entertainment, shared the first concept photo for her new mini-album "27" through the group's official social media channels on September 28.

In the image, YUQI appears in casual clothing and light makeup, framing the shoot around the everyday feel of being 27 years old. Her bright expression and relaxed pose set a low-key, personal mood that hints at the album's direction.

The EP is YUQI's first solo release in about a year and a month. It carries six tracks in total, including the title song "Stay," and every song was written by YUQI herself. An earlier introduction video previewed the album's tone through a narrative-style edit, laying out the emotional arc fans can expect.

YUQI is also opening an offline space to mark the release. From September 30 through October 6, she will host a character pop-up store titled "YUQI CHARACTER POP-UP 'TODAY WITH GIGI'" at Platz 2 in Seoul's Seongdong district, giving fans a chance to step into the world around her new project.

YUQI's second mini-album "27" arrives October 8 on major music platforms.
