XLOV Looks to Build on Its Billboard Breakthrough With New Mini Album ‘i=!’

K-POP group XLOV will return in October with a new mini album.

The group's agency confirmed on September 29 that its third mini album, "i=!" (pronounced "I equals I"), will drop on October 28 at 6 p.m. KST.

XLOV, made up of members Umuti, Louis, Hyun and Haru, shared the album's promotion schedule through its official social media channels. The rollout begins on September 30 with a tracklist reveal, followed by a trailer video, a highlight medley, a challenge preview and music video teasers. Concept photos will also drop in four versions over the following weeks.

The release comes about five months after the group's second mini album, "I,God," which arrived in May. That project drew from a chess motif built around the promotion of a pawn. "i=!" is designed as the next chapter in that ongoing story.

XLOV debuted in January 2025 as a gender-free group. "I,God" became the group's biggest release to date, moving more than 200,000 copies in its first week. The album also landed at No. 6 on Billboard's "The 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2026 (So Far), Ranked: Staff Picks."

The group has also been steadily building its overseas presence. XLOV recently hosted an album release pop-up store in Paris and performed at music festivals in Málaga, Spain, and Bucharest, Romania. Next up is its Asia tour, "2026 XLOV ASIA TOUR 'Serving-X'," which stops in Singapore on October 1 and in Osaka, Japan, on October 17.
