ALLDAY PROJECT Roars Back With 'CRASH' EP, Cracks Global Top 3

K-POP group AllDay Project has broken back into the top of K-POP's global buzz charts. The rise follows the release of the group's new mini-album, "CRASH," on Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. KST.

According to the K-POPIT BOARD, a global K-POP analytics index, AllDay Project posted a score of 58.1 on PWR(GL), a metric that tracks overall global influence. That placed the group at No. 3 worldwide as of Sept. 30. On MOM(GL), which measures how fast a group's buzz is climbing, AllDay Project hit 67.4, good for No. 4 globally. VCR, the index that shows how much online chatter translates into actual video views and music streams, came in at 56.4.

The sharpest jump came in the D-layer metric, which tracks new potential fans discovering the group. That number shot up 452.7 percent in a single day. On the domestic side, however, the group scored 51 on PWR(KR) and did not make the Korean top 10.

The momentum has been driven by "CRASH," the group's second mini-album. The record carries five tracks in total, including the title track of the same name. "CRASH" is an electro-dance-pop song built on short, chopped-up synth lines that loop across the beat. A shared male and female vocal hook anchors each chorus. Members Tarzzan, Woochan and Bailey are credited as co-writers, and the production team is led by TEDDY with contributions from Vince and 24.

Video and streaming numbers moved fast. The "CRASH" music video pulled 10.98 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of release. On Melon, the leading Korean music streaming platform, the song sat at No. 42 on the TOP 100 chart as of 9 a.m. KST on Sept. 30.

The comeback ends a break of about nine months, and fans responded quickly. Comments under the official music video on YouTube included "the quality makes the wait worth it," "feels like they came back determined to show everything they do best" and "the long break is forgiven, the song is really good."
