EVAN Lets "Immature" Get Loud With Full-Band Live Performance

EVAN is moving beyond "Death of Me" to show more of what his first mini album has to offer.

The soloist appeared on YouTube series 'it's Live' on September 30, performing DEATH OF ME's B-side "Immature" with a live band.

Built around an alternative rock sound, "Immature" centers on continuing down one's own path despite still feeling inexperienced and unfinished.

For the performance, EVAN leaned into the track's rougher edge as his vocals cut through heavy drums and electric guitar. Performing against a red-lit backdrop, he shifted between restrained passages and more forceful moments as the song built.

The appearance also marked EVAN's return to 'it's Live' following his previous performance on 'the Fillin' Live.'

"Immature" is one of several tracks through which EVAN explored different sounds on DEATH OF ME, released September 7.

The album recently reached No. 49 on the Billboard 200 dated October 3, while also appearing on charts in the U.K. and Japan.

EVAN is now preparing to highlight another side of the record. He will begin follow-up promotions for "Twilight" with a performance on Mnet's M Countdown on October 1.

Unlike the rock-driven "Immature," "Twilight" is a pop track built around UK garage rhythms, using twilight as a metaphor for the intoxicating moments experienced with another person.

The shift gives EVAN another opportunity to move away from the darker atmosphere of title track "Death of Me" and showcase the range of sounds packed into his debut mini album.
