T.O.P and Nana Make Romance Official: "We'll Have a Happy, Healthy Relationship"

Nana, an actress and former member of K-pop girl group After School, has shared her thoughts on going public with her relationship with former BIGBANG member T.O.P.

Nana addressed the news through the fan communication platform Bubble on Oct. 2. "You were really surprised, right?" she wrote, acknowledging fans who may have been caught off guard by the sudden announcement.

"I'm a little embarrassed, too," she continued. "We'll have a happy and healthy relationship."

Reports of Nana and T.O.P's relationship emerged earlier that day. Their agencies subsequently confirmed that the two are dating and said they have been building a positive relationship.

The pair first met while working on a music video. Nana appeared in the video for "Studio54," a title track from T.O.P's solo album "TOP SPOT - ANOTHER DIMENSION." They reportedly grew closer after the shoot and began dating around June.

Nana and T.O.P share similar career paths. Both began their careers as second-generation K-pop idols in the late 2000s before expanding into acting. T.O.P debuted as a member of BIGBANG in 2006, while Nana joined After School in 2009.

T.O.P has appeared in films including "71: Into the Fire" and "Tazza: The Hidden Card," as well as the Netflix series "Squid Game Season 2." Nana established herself as an actress through projects such as "The Good Wife," "Justice," "Into the Ring" and "Mask Girl." Their relationship has drawn additional attention as both made the transition from second-generation K-pop stars to actors.
