GOT7's JAY B Turns the Page With New Single Series "Chptr. 1"

JAY B is starting a new chapter in his solo career, quite literally.

The singer will release his third single "Chptr. 1" on October 27, marking the beginning of a new single series separate from his full-length albums and EPs.

His agency 528Hz recently unveiled a promotional schedule for the release, with concept photos, a mood film, music video teaser and performance video set to arrive throughout October.

Following "Switch It Up" and "Rocking Chair," "Chptr. 1" will be JAY B's third single. More significantly, it is being introduced as the first installment of a series designed to continue across multiple releases like an epilogue.

The project follows JAY B's third mini album "TR.EE," released in June alongside title track "Layback."

He subsequently took the album on the road with his 'tape: roots' tour, performing across five cities in Asia and six in the United States. His recent solo activities, including "TR.EE" and the tour, were also featured by Forbes.

Shortly after "Chptr. 1" arrives, JAY B will reunite onstage with fellow GOT7 members BamBam and Mark Tuan in Bangkok.

The three will perform at '2026 KPop Masterz SPECIAL LIVE IN BANGKOK' at ThunderDome Stadium on November 14 and 15.

The November 14 show sold out following ticket sales, leading organizers to add a second performance on November 15. The approximately three-hour show is set to include individual performances from all three artists as well as a special GOT7 stage together.

The Bangkok dates will also bring JAY B back to Thailand approximately four months after his two-night 2026 JAY B 'tape: roots bangkok' concerts at IMPACT Arena in July, which drew a combined audience of approximately 16,000.

Before returning to Bangkok with his GOT7 members, JAY B will open his latest solo series with "Chptr. 1" on October 27.
