XLOV's Hyun to Miss Comeback Showcase After Leg Injury
Hyun of the K-POP group XLOV will miss the group's comeback showcase after suffering a leg injury during practice. XLOV is set to release its third EP, "i=!," on Oct. 28, with the showcase will proceed with three members
The group's agency, StrangeLab, announced the news in an official notice on Oct. 27.
"We would like to inform you that XLOV member Hyun will not attend the showcase for the third EP, 'i=!,' scheduled for Oct. 28, due to a leg injury sustained during practice," the agency said.
The decision followed medical advice. "Based on the medical team's recommendation that he needs sufficient rest and recovery, the showcase will be held with three members, excluding Hyun," the agency said.
Hyun's participation in future activities has yet to be determined. StrangeLab said it would decide whether he could join music show appearances, fan signing events and other promotions depending on his recovery.
"We will carefully determine his participation in future schedules after thoroughly assessing his recovery," the agency said. "Further details regarding his activities will be announced separately."
The agency also addressed EVOL, the group's official fandom. "We ask for the understanding of EVOL, who have been waiting for the comeback, as we share this sudden news that may cause concern," the statement read.
"We will do our utmost to support Hyun's recovery so that he can meet fans again in good health," the agency added.
