Kim June One

Glen Check's vocalist and guitarist, known professionally as Kim June One, represents the songwriting and sonic identity behind one of South Korea's more distinctive indie-leaning acts. Born Kim Joonwon, he has built his profile through the band's blend of synth-driven, genre-fluid music rather than through the conventional idol industry pipeline.

Formation & Role in Glen Check

Glen Check occupies an unusual space in the South Korean music landscape — a group operating at the intersection of indie rock, electronic music, and art pop, a profile that sets it apart from the mainstream idol system. Within that project, Kim June One serves as vocalist and guitarist, contributing to the act's sound and live presentation.
