A hip-hop producer, rapper, and songwriter who built his reputation inside YG Entertainment's creative infrastructure, Kush — born Kim Byung-hoon on July 28, 1984 — has worked across South Korean hip-hop as both a solo voice and a collaborative force. He is also a member of Stony Skunk, the reggae-inflected hip-hop duo that established his profile before his YG years.
Music & Discography
Kush's output has spanned both performance and production, with his work as a behind-the-scenes architect proving as consequential as his recorded material. His association with YG Entertainment placed him at the center of one of South Korean music's most influential label ecosystems during hip-hop's commercial expansion in the country. His Stony Skunk membership reflects a grounding in an earlier, more independent strain of Korean hip-hop culture.
