Known across both the music and television industries under the single-letter stage name L, Kim Myung-soo built a parallel career as a singer and actor from his base as a member of the South Korean boy group INFINITE — an unusual dual track that gave him a public profile extending well beyond the group's discography.
Debut & Formation
L debuted as part of INFINITE under Woollim Entertainment, a Seoul-based label that positioned the group within the competitive landscape of South Korean idol pop. While the structured facts available do not specify the precise debut date, INFINITE established themselves as a recognized act in the K-pop space, and L's membership has remained continuous.
Activities
Beyond the group, L pursued an acting career across both television and film — a path that, over time, became as central to his public identity as his work in INFINITE. His on-screen presence and distinctive appearance became widely noted; in early 2026, a separate idol artist was publicly described as resembling him when cast in a remake of the drama *Stove League*, a detail that reflects how recognizable L's look had become as a reference point in Korean entertainment culture.
