A current member of Y&W (영앤와일드) and a former main rapper of Boys Republic, Kim Minsu has built his career across two distinct group configurations, moving from the rap-forward lineup of Boys Republic to a vocalist and main dancer role in Y&W.
Debut & Formation
Minsu first came to wider attention as the main rapper and lead dancer of Boys Republic (소년공화국), a group that cultivated a following through energetic performance-driven material. His transition to Y&W, where he serves as vocalist and main dancer, marked a shift in both musical positioning and group identity — a relatively uncommon pivot from a primary rap role to a vocal-centered one.
Members
Within Y&W, Minsu holds positions as vocalist and main dancer. His earlier tenure with Boys Republic cast him as main rapper and lead dancer, reflecting a broader performance range than either role alone suggests.
