Minwoo (민우)

No Min-woo has built a career that moves between music and screen, navigating both as a member of the boy group BOYFRIEND under Starship Entertainment and as a working actor in South Korean film and television. His profile is that of a dual-track performer whose longevity in the industry has drawn as much attention as his versatility.

Debut & Formation

No Min-woo, known by the stage name Minwoo, was born on July 31, 1995, and established himself through BOYFRIEND (보이프렌드), the Starship Entertainment group with which he remains affiliated. The group gave him his initial platform in the K-pop ecosystem, and his years within that structure formed the foundation from which he developed a parallel acting career.

Activities

Beyond his work with BOYFRIEND, No Min-woo has pursued individual projects as both a singer and an actor, accumulating experience across film and broadcast. A 2026 appearance tied to Icheon — documented in K-Pop!t coverage — marked a personal milestone he described in emotional terms, characterizing the broadcast as the fulfillment of a long-held wish to make his presence and identity known to a wider audience.

His public image has also drawn notice for a striking visual range. A 2026 photo series showcased his comfort across contrasting aesthetics — black-and-white stripped-back photography alongside blonde hair and high-concept styling — suggesting a performer at ease with reinvention and willing to operate outside the safer boundaries of conventional idol presentation.
