Para

The material on Para is thin — a single news item establishes her mini-album debut and a notable production credit, but little else about her background, chart performance, or career arc is available. The profile below reflects that honestly.

Para (Kim Ji-young) arrived on the international stage in April 2026 with her debut mini-album 'Ola,' a five-track project recorded with a producer known for his work with BLACKPINK. Based in Nigeria and working within the Afrobeats idiom, Para represents a relatively rare intersection: a South Korean artist building a primary career inside the West African pop ecosystem rather than within the Seoul industry corridor.

Debut & Formation

'Ola,' released on April 7, 2026, marks Para's first extended project. The title track centers on the experience of falling in love, and the full mini-album runs to five songs. The collaboration with a BLACKPINK-affiliated producer signals an early investment in cross-genre production credibility, bridging the sonic sensibilities of K-pop studio craft with Afrobeats arrangement.

Para is also a member of Maronie Girls (마로니에걸즈), though details of that group's activity are not yet available in published coverage.
