As the main vocalist of After School and the leader of its subunit Orange Caramel, Raina (Oh Hye Rin) occupied a central role in one of Pledis Entertainment's most prominent acts of the early 2010s. Her 2014 solo single "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness" stands as her representative work under her own name, extending a solo presence beyond her group commitments.
Formation & Group Work
Raina was a member of After School, the Pledis girl group known for its rotating lineup structure, where she served as main vocalist. Within that framework, she also led Orange Caramel, a three-member subunit that cultivated a deliberately retro, kitsch aesthetic distinct from the parent group's sharper image. Her dual role — main vocalist in After School, leader and main vocalist in Orange Caramel — placed her among the more prominent figures in the Pledis roster during that period. She was also part of the sub-unit A.S. Red & Blue.
Music
Beyond her group activities, Raina released the solo single "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness" in 2014, her primary credited solo output on record.
