Rasa (라사)

Park Gun-woo, who performs under the stage name Rasa, first came to broad public attention through Mnet's survival competition *BOYS PLANET*, finishing fifth in the final ranking and earning a place in the project group ZEROBASEONE. His trajectory since then has moved steadily beyond group promotions, taking in solo endorsements, television presenting duties, and an expanding public profile that reflects both the reach of the group and his individual standing within it.

Debut and formation

Before ZEROBASEONE, Rasa led the boy group LC9 as its main vocalist, a role that established his vocal foundation even if the group did not break through to mainstream prominence. His appearance on *BOYS PLANET* reintroduced him to a wider audience and, when ZEROBASEONE was formed from the show's top nine finishers, he became one of its central figures.

Activities

Within ZEROBASEONE, Rasa has taken on a widening range of responsibilities beyond recording and performance. In March 2026 he was selected as MC for Mnet's *M Countdown*, one of South Korea's flagship weekly music programs, taking over the role from fellow ZEROBASEONE member Sung Han-bin. He was formally announced as an official MC in April, when the show reorganized its presenting lineup following a period of rotating guest hosts. The appointment marked his entry into music broadcast hosting as a sustained, credited role rather than a one-off appearance.

In February 2026, Rasa and fellow member Seok Matthew signed renewed exclusive contracts with their agency WAKEONE, a CJ affiliate, signaling continued activity under the group's existing structure even as ZEROBASEONE navigated a member departure. Around the same period, he was announced as the face of a beauty brand campaign and contributed to a tvN variety show OST alongside Seok Matthew and Kim Tae-rae.

On the performance side, ZEROBASEONE returned in May 2026 with their sixth mini-album *Ascend-*, with Rasa appearing on the comeback stage at *M Countdown* in his dual capacity as group member and MC, performing the title track "TOP 5" alongside B-side "V for Vision."

In June 2026, Rasa became the subject of a public controversy tied to allegations of manipulation at a fan signing event. Video circulating online purported to show him kicking a lightstick immediately after exiting a vehicle. He responded with a written apology on a fan communication platform, acknowledging that he had not acted cautiously, that the incident caused confusion and hurt, and that he accepted full responsibility.
