Shin Soo Hyun — known by the stage name Soohyun — has spent more than a decade as the leader and lead vocalist of U-KISS, the Seoul-formed group that carved out a sustained international following across Asia and beyond in the 2010s.
Debut & Formation
Soohyun was a founding presence when U-KISS debuted in 2008, taking on both the leadership role and primary vocal duties from the outset. The group launched under NH Media and pursued an unusually active Japan and Southeast Asia strategy during the early years of the Korean Wave, building a fanbase that extended well beyond the domestic market.
Members
As leader, Soohyun has been the consistent anchor of U-KISS through a lineup that has shifted over the years. His tenure as both the group's organizational head and its lead vocalist has made him one of the more recognizable long-serving frontmen in second-generation K-pop.
