Wooseok [formerly Wooshin (우신)] (우석)

Kim Woo-seok built his public profile across two distinct lanes simultaneously — as a member of the multi-member idol group UP10TION under the stage name Wooseok (formerly Wooshin), and as an actor whose television work expanded his reach well beyond the group's core fanbase.

Group work and early career

UP10TION, which debuted in 2015, is a Korean boy group whose roster has included Kim Woo-seok throughout its active run. His dual pursuit of music and acting set him apart within the group's lineup, allowing him to maintain visibility through drama credits even during quieter periods in the group's release schedule.

Return from military service

After completing his mandatory military service, Kim Woo-seok marked his discharge by releasing a self-composed song for fans — a personal gesture that signaled both his continued investment in music and his readiness to resume activities in earnest. He followed the release with new profile photos that drew attention for a notably more mature visual presence, which observers noted had sharpened considerably in his 30s.

Personal life

Kim Woo-seok and actress Kang Na-eon have been in a publicly acknowledged relationship for at least three years. Kang Na-eon, for her part, has remained active in television drama, most recently in a villainous role in writer Im Sung-han's medical drama *Doctor Shin*, where she played Tae Ye-jung, a character drawn from a wealthy background whose antagonism toward the lead provided a significant dramatic thread in the series.
