Choi Yeyoung is a South Korean vocalist who serves as both leader and main vocalist of the girl group Geenius (지니어스). Prior to that role, she was a member of Polaris Girls, making her current position with Geenius her active group affiliation.
Formation & Role
Within Geenius, Yeyoung holds the dual weight of the group's vocal anchor and its leader — a combination that places her at the center of both the group's sound and its day-to-day direction. Born on May 31, 2000, she brings a degree of seniority in experience to a role that demands both performance consistency and organizational responsibility.
Her earlier membership in Polaris Girls represents a prior chapter in her career before the Geenius project took shape, though the details of that period remain limited in the public record.
