CLASS:y (클라씨)

CLASS:y arrived through one of South Korean television's more competitive entry points: the MBC survival audition series *My Teenage Girl*, which determined the group's final lineup in its closing episode. That origin — seven members selected through a nationally broadcast process — gave the group a built-in audience before their first release, and they converted that attention into a formal debut on May 5, 2022, with the mini-album Y 'CLASS IS OVER'.

Debut and Formation

The group is managed by M25, a subsidiary of PocketDol Studio, and their debut date was chosen with some deliberate symbolism — May 5 is Children's Day in South Korea, a fitting launch point for a group whose name and concept were shaped around the energy and identity of youth. The mini-album title *Y 'CLASS IS OVER'* extended that framing, positioning the group's arrival as a kind of graduation into something new. Their formation through *My Teenage Girl* places them in a lineage of competition-born acts whose public familiarity with the members preceded any official music release, a dynamic that tends to accelerate early fanbase development.

Members

CLASS:y's seven-member lineup, as assembled through *My Teenage Girl*, consists of Boeun, Chaewon, Hyeju, Hyungseo, Jimin, Riwon, and Seonyou.

Activities

Beyond their recorded output, CLASS:y have maintained a visible public presence in South Korea's broader entertainment landscape. In early 2026, the group attended Seoul Fashion Week, where the members drew attention for individual styling choices that reflected distinct personal aesthetics — a sign of the kind of individual identity cultivation that girl groups increasingly pursue alongside collective branding. Around the same period, coverage noted the group projecting a "chic yet cute" quality in their presentation, a dual-register concept that has become a recognized mode in contemporary K-pop girl group positioning.

The available material does not yet support a full accounting of their discography beyond the debut mini-album, charting history, or award record, and those sections are omitted here accordingly.
