Ulala Session (울랄라세션)

The three-piece group Ulala Session rose to public attention through South Korean television competition, carving out a presence in the domestic music landscape that extended well beyond a typical reality-show trajectory. Signed to AAA, the Seoul-based trio — comprising Park Seung-il, Kim Myung-hoon, and Choi Do-won — made their official debut on November 24, 2011, following a period during which the group's lineup was considerably larger before settling into its current three-member configuration.

Formation & Debut

Ulala Session's path to debut was shaped by an earlier, more expansive lineup. Former members Goon Jo, Ha Jun-seok, Lim Yoon-taek, and Park Kwang-sun were all part of the group's history before the roster contracted to the three active members who carry the name today. That distillation — from a larger collective down to Park Seung-il, Kim Myung-hoon, and Choi Do-won — defined the version of the group that formally debuted in late 2011 and has continued under the Ulala Session name.

Music & Discography

The group's recorded output includes *Summer Love*, a release that reflects the upbeat, melodic sensibility the trio has been associated with. The broader genre classification is K-pop, though the group's appeal has drawn from a vocal-forward approach that distinguishes them within that broad category.

Activities

Beyond their recorded work, individual members have maintained public profiles. Kim Myung-hoon attended Seoul Fashion Week in February 2026, drawing attention for his presence at one of South Korea's most visible style events — a signal of the group's continued cultural footprint more than a decade after their debut.
