Kang Ye-seo, known professionally as Yeseo, has moved through three distinct chapters of a career that began before she reached her teens — from a supporting role in a mid-tier girl group to one of K-pop's more prominent survival-show graduates. Her current dual membership in Kep1er and MΛDEIN places her among a small number of idols active across multiple group projects simultaneously.
Debut & early activity
Yeseo's first formal group credit came with Busters β, the junior sub-unit of the girl group Busters, where she held the positions of Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, and Visual. The role established her foundational performance training before she moved toward a higher-profile platform.
Road to Kep1er
The turning point in Yeseo's career arrived through Mnet's competition series *Girls Planet 999*, the survival program that culminated in the formation of Kep1er in late 2021. The group — drawn from Korean, Chinese, and Japanese contestants — debuted in January 2022 under Wake One Entertainment and Swing Entertainment, and Yeseo was among the members selected through the show's public voting process. Kep1er's debut mini-album *FIRST IMPACT* established the group in the competitive early-2022 landscape of fourth-generation girl groups, and the act went on to build a consistent domestic and international fanbase across subsequent releases.
MΛDEIN
In addition to her standing commitments with Kep1er, Yeseo is also listed as a member of MΛDEIN, representing continued activity across multiple group fronts — a structural arrangement that reflects broader industry patterns of idols participating in overlapping projects during or after an initial group's active cycle.
