Hi! I’m an Editor at K-POPIT, working on English-language content that connects Korean entertainment with readers around the world. My work involves editing and refining stories, adapting Korean entertainment news for an international audience, and making sure the context behind a story comes through clearly in English. I’m especially interested in how K-POP is experienced differently in Korea and abroad, and how the global audience continues to shape the industry. Originally from Ecuador and now based in Seoul, I bring an international perspective to my work. Being both a fan and someone working within the Korean entertainment industry has made me particularly interested in the connection between Korean culture and its growing global audience. At K-POPIT, I want to help make Korean entertainment stories easier to understand and more engaging for international readers, while keeping the Korean context and the original meaning at the heart of every story.
