Secret Returns After 12 Years With New Member Yebin

K-POP group Secret is returning with new music for the first time in roughly 12 years. The group will release a special mini-album, "Secret Flavor," on Thursday at 6 p.m. KST through major streaming platforms.

The lead single, "Ice Cream," is a mid-tempo pop dance track that samples Vivaldi's "Spring." Built on bright string sounds, the song carries the simple wish that an ice cream cone might not melt away.

"Secret Flavor" looks back on the group's earlier years while signaling its next chapter. The members shaped the album around the idea of carrying Secret's identity forward, with Yebin joining as the new main vocalist. The energy of Jun Hyoseong, Zinger, and Yebin together is meant to capture the warm, upbeat feel that has long defined the group's sound.

The album includes eight tracks in total. Alongside "Ice Cream," the tracklist features "GET RIGHT," "Madonna (2026 Ver.)," "Shy Boy (2026 Ver.)," "Starlight Moonlight (2026 Ver.)," "Love is MOVE (2026 Ver.)," "YooHoo (2026 Ver.)" and "Madonna (Remake 2026 Ver.)." "GET RIGHT" leans into a funky sound that plays up the group's confidence. The updated versions revisit Secret's biggest hits with fresh arrangements. "Madonna (Remake 2026 Ver.)" reworks the original in a new style for a different take on the signature track.

The release marks a notable return for one of the late-2000s and early-2010s K-POP scene's most recognizable girl groups, and a test of how a veteran act can re-enter a market now dominated by fourth- and fifth-generation idols.
