Sandara Park Says She Nearly Collapsed Before Solo Comeback Stage
2NE1 member Sandara Park said she came close to collapsing from nerves while preparing for her latest comeback.
Sandara Park shared the story during a guest appearance on KBS Cool FM's "Paul Kim's Gayo Plaza" on Tuesday, just days after releasing her new single.
A listener brought up an earlier comment in which Sandara Park said she had been too nervous to eat ahead of the release, then asked how she was holding up. "Even normally, when I'm focused on something, my appetite disappears," she said. "I get this feeling like my throat is closing up."
She went further when describing the lead-up to her first stage. "I think I was really nervous before my first performance. I barely ate anything, and I almost collapsed," she said, surprising the hosts.
Long known for eating small portions, Sandara Park also walked listeners through her day-to-day habits. "I don't really like snacks. Jelly feels like too much work to chew," she said. "I prefer liquids. I'll drink a protein shake, or I'll replace a meal with a decaf iced vanilla latte."
Sandara Park released her new single album "REPRISM" on the 20th at 6 p.m. KST across major online music platforms.
