SEVENTEEN's Joshua Speaks at UNESCO Event, Encourages Youth to Pursue Their Dreams

K-POP group SEVENTEEN member Joshua represented the group at a UNESCO event in Paris on Thursday, reaffirming the group's commitment to supporting young people through its ongoing partnership with the organization.

Joshua attended the "UNESCO x SEVENTEEN: Celebrating Youth, Creativity and Well-Being Together" ceremony at UNESCO headquarters, where the organization highlighted the progress of its "Going Together – For Youth Creativity & Well-being" program. SEVENTEEN became UNESCO's first Youth Goodwill Ambassadors in 2024.

Addressing attendees, Joshua encouraged young people to continue pursuing their goals.

"Every young person's dream is valuable," he said. "SEVENTEEN will continue to stand beside you in the ways we know best — through our music, our support and by reminding you that your dreams matter."

The remaining members also appeared through a video message, congratulating participants and encouraging them to continue creating positive change in their communities.

The "Going Together" program has supported 100 youth-led projects worldwide through the Global Youth Grant Scheme. Ten outstanding teams will now receive additional funding and mentorship as the initiative enters its next phase.
