Netflix's Korean suspense series "Notes from the Last Row" has released a new set of unseen stills and behind-the-scenes photos. The show climbed to No. 8 on Netflix's global Top 10 non-English TV chart within three days of its premiere.

"Notes from the Last Row" is a suspense drama about Heo Mun-oh, a failed writer and Korean literature professor consumed by a sense of defeat, who becomes obsessed with the writing of Lee Kang, a student sitting in the back row of his classroom. Choi Min-sik plays the professor. Choi Hyun-wook plays the student.

The newly released stills trace some of the series' key moments. They show Heo Mun-oh getting drawn deeper into Lee Kang's writing, his growing tension with his wife Cho Hyun-sook, played by Jin Kyung, and his complicated feelings toward An Eun-ju, played by Kim Yun-jin. Other images revisit the case involving the family of Kim Se-yoon, played by Lee Jin-woo, a scene where Heo Mun-oh visits the home of Kim Su-hoon, played by Heo Joon-ho, and the final confrontation between Heo Mun-oh and Lee Kang.

The behind-the-scenes photos offer a lighter look at the production. In one, Choi Min-sik and director Kim Kyu-tae go over the script together. In others, the cast laughs and chats between takes, a contrast to the tightly wound performances on screen.

Since its release, "Notes from the Last Row" has landed at No. 8 on Netflix's global Top 10 non-English TV list. Korean and international press have pointed to the show's unpredictable plotting and the strength of its performances. Viewers have also praised the pacing, the psychological detail, and the on-screen chemistry between Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook.

"Notes from the Last Row" is now streaming on Netflix.
