R.Tee and Block B's Taeil Join Forces for Virtual Group BEGRITZ

A new virtual K-pop group is set to debut this August as entertainment technology company DNABLE unveiled plans for its first virtual idol project, BEGRITZ.

The five-member virtual boy group will be produced by R.Tee, whose credits include work with artists such as BLACKPINK, BIGBANG and SOMI. According to the company, R.Tee will oversee the group's music production, including the debut album, creative direction and recording process.

Block B’s Taeil will participate as the group's A&R and vocal director, contributing to vocal direction and the group's overall musical development.

DNABLE said BEGRITZ combines real-time CG production, AI technology and high-precision performance capture to support livestreams, performances and fan events. The company describes the project as a long-term entertainment IP rather than a standalone virtual idol group.

The group's concept centers on five dokkaebi (Korean goblin) characters who travel through time and space after emerging from long-forgotten objects, with music, storytelling and interactive content forming the core of the project.

Ahead of its official debut, DNABLE plans to gradually introduce BEGRITZ through logo animations, lore content and character teasers before the group's August launch.
