Actress Seo Yea-ji has signed an exclusive contract with B.Wave Entertainment, ending her two-year run with Sublime. The move places one of Korea's most recognizable drama leads at a young agency still building its roster.

B-Wave CEO Koo Bon-young confirmed the signing on Wednesday. "We have signed an exclusive contract with actress Seo Yea-ji," Koo said. "Based on our content production capabilities, we will offer full support so that we can present a range of content that showcases her individuality. We also plan to continue various activities that allow her to actively communicate with the public."

Seo Yea-ji debuted in 2013 with the drama "Potato Star 2013QR3." She went on to appear in a string of high-profile dramas and films, including "Eve," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," "Lawless Lawyer," "Recalled," and "By Quantum Physics: A Nightlife Venture."

Her most recent project marked a shift in medium. In January, she took the stage in the play "Hymn of Death" (Saui Chanmi), playing the tragic soprano Yun Sim-deok. It was her first stage role, and reviews highlighted the depth of her performance despite the new format.

B.Wave Entertainment was founded in June 2025 and currently represents Tony An, ONEUS, and actress Hong Eun-hee. CEO Koo Bon-young previously worked at FNC Entertainment and RBW before launching the company.

The signing adds a proven screen name to a small but growing agency, and gives Seo Yea-ji a fresh base as she moves between drama, film, and theater.
