ILLIT's Wonhee will challenge for a sexy pose in "Wonhee is Twenty"
Coupang Play is closing out its reality series "Wonhee is Twenty" with a summer-flavored finale built around ILLIT's Wonhee. The streamer released a preview and stills ahead of the final episode, which drops July 25 at 4 p.m. KST.
The final "life unnie" guests are Dayoung and SinB, who join Wonhee to tackle the last items on her list of things to try before turning 20. "Wonhee is Twenty" is a reality variety show that follows Wonhee, who still has plenty of firsts ahead of her, as she works through a bucket list with different older-sister figures. The show frames each guest as an "unnie," the Korean term younger women use for close older women, positioning them as mentors as much as co-stars.
The teaser for episode eight centers on a day at the Han River in Seoul. The three head out for water sports, and their reactions could not be more different. Wonhee, who the show jokes was "born to be in the water," races across the surface with a grin. Dayoung and SinB scream through the ride, playing up the contrast for laughs.
Back on land, Wonhee turns to her guests for one last request. "I think I need to learn a little sexy from my unnies," she says, revealing the final entry on her list. Dayoung and SinB take on the role of "hot girl" tutors and pass along their tips with full commitment. Wonhee, for her part, cannot quite shake her cute image no matter what she tries, which becomes its own running joke.
The accompanying stills capture the trio on and off the water. They ride through water sports on the river, then settle into "hot girl" talk that plays out more like a conversation between real sisters. The photos highlight the easy affection Dayoung and SinB show toward Wonhee, along with the unfiltered banter the show has leaned on all season.
"Wonhee is Twenty" has spent its run tracking an honest, sometimes clumsy stretch of growing up. The finale ties that arc to a summer memory and one last bucket-list check. The final episode arrives July 25 at 4 p.m. KST on Coupang Play.
