ILLIT's Wonhee Wraps First Solo Variety Show "Wonhee is Twenty"

Wonhee of K-pop girl group ILLIT has wrapped her first solo variety show, Coupang Play's "Wonhee Is Twenty."

Following the show's finale, the production team released Wonhee's closing remarks along with previously unseen behind-the-scenes photos.

"Wonhee Is Twenty" is a reality variety series that follows the 20-year-old idol as she works through a bucket list with a rotating group of older female cast members, referred to as her "unnies." The program focuses on Wonhee as she takes on a series of new experiences.

Throughout the season, she attended an outdoor drinking gathering, went camping in the rain, trained at a boxing gym, took part in a temple stay and tried water sports. The show highlighted her candid reactions and willingness to take on unfamiliar challenges.

"I was so grateful to have my first solo variety show centered on the theme of being 20 years old," Wonhee said. "I may have been a little clumsy because it was my first time, but I filmed every episode with excitement and energy."

She added, "I hope 'Wonhee Is Twenty' brought some joy to everyone who watched."

Wonhee also expressed gratitude to the cast and production staff who joined her throughout the series.

"Twenty may be just a number, but thanks to 'Wonhee Is Twenty,' this year has become even more special and meaningful to me," she said. "I had so much fun making memories with all the unnies, and the staff were so kind that I quickly became attached to them. It feels like the show ended too soon."

Looking ahead, she said, "For the rest of my time being 20, I want to give my best in everything I do, both as a member of ILLIT and as Wonhee, and live without regrets."

The newly released stills show Wonhee working a part-time job at an amusement park and completing other items on her bucket list. They also capture candid moments with the cast and staff, reflecting the bond they built during filming.

All episodes of "Wonhee Is Twenty" are available on Coupang Play.
