NouerA Marks First Week of Comeback With Music Shows and Busking
K-pop group NouerA wrapped its first week of comeback promotions with a run of music show stages and a live busking event in Seoul.
The group released its fourth mini album, ".exe," on July 27 of last month and moved straight into a packed promotional schedule.
Music show appearances started July 30 of last month with Mnet's "M Countdown," followed by KBS2's "Music Bank" and MBC's "Show! Music Core." At each stop, NouerA performed the title track ".exe."
On Aug. 2, the group held a busking event at Coex in Gangnam district, Seoul. The set covered every song on the new album, including the title track ".exe," "LOCKED IN," "W.T.F(un)," and "LIFE IN COLOR."
The setlist also reached back into NouerA's catalog. The group performed "Jet Stream" from its first mini album, "BNB (Beauty and the Beast)" from its second, and "POP IT LIKE," the title track of its third mini album. The mix gave fans a clearer picture of the group's musical identity across releases.
".exe" centers on the story of approaching someone you like without hesitation. The album carries four tracks in total: the title song, "LOCKED IN," "W.T.F(un)," and "LIFE IN COLOR." The title track ".exe" reached No. 4 on YouTube Music's daily popular Shorts songs chart on the 29th of last month, and its music video has passed 10 million views. Fan-made fan art was used in the video itself.
Alongside the promotions, NouerA has been running a mix of offline and online fan content, including a sports day event with fans and a "leaving-work fairy" fan event. The group is using these activities to build more direct points of contact with its fanbase during the comeback window.
