idntt's 'itsnotover' Takes on Growing Pains With 'Deep Dream'

'itsnotover', the third unit of K-pop rookie group idntt, is back with new music. The unit releases its latest id track, "Deep Dream," on Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. KST.

"Deep Dream" is a minimal R&B song built around a slow tempo and dreamy sound. The track turns the confusion of growing up, the pull between adolescence and adulthood, into music.

The song captures the mix of anxiety and hope that defines youth. It also carries the idea that a moment you thought was the end can turn into a new beginning. The five members have each lived through different stretches of time, and each brings their own point of view to a shared story about process rather than closure.

All five members took part in writing the lyrics. Each drew from personal experience and emotion, giving every part its own mood.

More id tracks from the other units under idntt are set to roll out one by one in the coming months.
