Hyeri's Agency Goes After Malicious Posters, With Fines and Indictments Already Issued

Hyeri's agency has shared the results of its ongoing legal action against malicious posts targeting the singer and actress.

Sublime said Aug. 13 that some of the cases have led to fines or indictments, with charges including defamation and insult.

The agency has been taking legal action since October 2024, based on material collected through its own monitoring and tips from fans. It said authorities have recognized multiple offenses, with the outcome depending on the severity of each case.

The legal action is still ongoing. Sublime said it continues to monitor defamatory and insulting posts, sexual harassment and false claims involving its artists. The agency added that cases are being pursued even when individual complaints or investigations are not publicly announced.

Sublime also said it will continue to take a firm stance without settlements or leniency.

Hyeri, a former member of Girl's Day, is currently starring as Joo Yi-jae in ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama "Dreaming of You."
