izna Takes on BLACKPINK's 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' at KCON LA 2026

K-pop girl group izna will cover BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" at KCON LA 2026. The performance is one of several stages the six-member group has prepared for the annual K-pop convention in Los Angeles.

izna, made up of Mai, Bang Jimin, Koko, Yoo Sarang, Choi Jungeun, and Jeong Sebi, will join KCON LA 2026 from Aug. 14 to 16 local time at Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center. The group takes the stage on Aug. 15, the second day of the event.

izna will meet U.S. fans through two segments: the live music show "M COUNTDOWN" and an ARTIST STAGE set. The group has prepared a reworked version of its existing songs with an added dance break, aimed at delivering a sharper live performance.

The special stage is the centerpiece. izna plans to reinterpret BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" in its own style, layering the group's performance identity onto the bold sound of the original.

This marks izna's second straight year at KCON LA, part of a steady push into overseas stages. In September, the group will launch its concert tour "2026 izna Concert Tour: WHO DAT GIRL?" The run opens with two Seoul shows on Sept. 19 and 20, followed by dates across six cities in South Korea and abroad.

For a group still early in its career, the KCON slot doubles as both a global showcase and a warm-up for its first proper tour. It also places izna in a lineage of younger K-pop acts using KCON LA as a launchpad into the U.S. market.
