IVE's An Yujin Shows Off Multitasking Skills on New tvN Variety Show

An Yujin of K-pop girl group IVE spent her first day at the "Space Rice Cake" moving between the kitchen and the front of house. She handled orders, ran the register, made desserts, and washed dishes as the shop opened for business.

The recently aired tvN variety show follows the cast as they run a rice cake dessert shop together. On the first day, An Yujin took the first dessert order and headed straight to the kitchen to make "tteoktiramisu-bam" from the recipe. Customers responded well to the dish, and more orders soon followed.

She kept moving between the kitchen and the dining area to cover several tasks at once. She prepped desserts ahead of time so they could go out quickly, and squeezed in dishwashing between orders to help the other members. When a family came in, she switched them to a larger table to make sure they had enough room.

By the 10-hour mark she looked tired, but she stayed through the end of service. Afterward, the members checked the day's sales and celebrated over a beef dinner while going over how the shift went.

Over the meal, An Yujin and the other members talked through what had been difficult and what they wanted to fix. They also tried a new menu item, basil pesto tteokbokki, that Lee Young Ji had prepared, and shared feedback on it. They then went over the ingredients they would need for the next day.

The following day, An Yujin went grocery shopping with Lee Eun-ji. Since they had spent a lot the day before, they set a spending limit this time, though An Yujin still weighed a few tools that would help the shop run more smoothly. She also picked up a pink headband to match the shop's concept.

Day two brought even more customers, with outdoor tables added to the setup. Guests arrived right at opening, and An Yujin jumped back into taking orders and moving between the tables. With a busier stretch ahead, viewers are watching to see how she and the other members handle the days to come.

"Space Rice Cake" airs Fridays at 8:35 p.m. KST on tvN.
