Yujin (유진)

Ahn Yu-jin came to wider attention through IZ\*ONE, the multinational project group assembled via Mnet's survival competition *Produce 48* in 2018, where she served as a lead vocalist and lead dancer. When IZ\*ONE concluded its run, she carried that platform into IVE, the six-member girl group formed under Starship Entertainment — where she holds the role of leader alongside her position as a member.

Debut & Formation

Yu-jin's path to IVE ran through one of K-pop's more high-profile competition formats. *Produce 48*, which aired in 2018, drew contestants from both South Korean agencies and Japanese idol system AKB48 affiliates, and produced IZ\*ONE as its winning unit. Her work there as lead vocalist and lead dancer gave her a sustained period of group activity before the project group reached its scheduled conclusion. IVE, her current group under Starship Entertainment, represents her permanent debut home, where she also carries the additional responsibility of group leader.
