Former IZ*ONE Member Kwon Eun-bi Sets 'DEJAVU' Release for September 3
Solo artist Kwon Eun-bi is back with new music after a 16-month break. Her agency, RBW, announced her return with the digital single "DEJAVU," set for release on Sept. 3.
RBW shared a logo motion video for the single on Aug. 20, offering the first look at the project. The clip shows the "DEJAVU" logo shifting with the light against a backdrop of blue skies and clouds. The fresh, airy mood has fans guessing at the concept behind the new track.
Kwon Eun-bi first debuted in 2018 as a member of IZ*ONE, the group formed through Mnet's competition show "Produce 48." After the group wrapped its run, she moved into a solo career and has since built a reputation for jumping between genres and concepts. Her strong festival stages earned her the nickname "Summer Queen" among fans.
"DEJAVU" carries added weight as her first release since signing with RBW. How the new label reshapes her sound and image compared with her earlier solo work is one of the questions hanging over the comeback.
"DEJAVU" drops Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
