TVING is betting on a familiar office fantasy with a twist: what if you won the lottery and still went to work the next morning.

The streamer released the main trailer for its original series "The Ordinary Jackpot" on the 26th, giving viewers a first real look at how one very ordinary salaryman handles a very unordinary jackpot. The show is produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS and Bon Factory, written and directed by Yoon Young-bin, and adapted from the web novel of the same name by author Seo In-ha.

The series follows Gong Eun-tae, a team leader worn down by pressure from every direction at his company. He wins first prize in the lottery. Instead of quitting, he pockets his 1.3 billion won and goes back to the office with a completely different mindset. It is a lot of money. It is not quite enough to blow up his life. That gap is the point of the show.

The premise leans into a very Korean workplace fantasy. The money does not free Gong Eun-tae from his job so much as it changes how he sees the job, and the people around him. Only after the win does he actually start noticing his work and his coworkers.

Yoon Young-bin, who directed the 2021 film "Gangneung," handles both script and direction. The cast is stacked with dependable names, including Lee Jun-hyuk as Gong Eun-tae, Seo Hyun-woo, and Oh Dae-hwan.

The trailer sells the tone: no life-flipping plot twist, just a slow, funny shift in how one man carries himself. Gong Eun-tae lets out a roar when the 1.3 billion won lands in his lap. In voiceover, he says the win might be the last chance life will give him to stop swallowing his anger. That line reframes the story. He is not writing a resignation letter. He is deciding, quietly, to start causing some trouble.

That new attitude reshapes the office. His prickly dynamic with Yang Jun-ho, played by Seo Hyun-woo, starts to loosen once Gong Eun-tae begins doing things he never would have done before. Sales Team 5 shifts around him in ways the trailer only hints at. The comedy comes from watching a man with a small cushion of money act like someone who finally has options, even if he technically does not have that many.

"The Ordinary Jackpot" premieres exclusively on TVING on September 10 at 6 p.m. KST. It moves to cable on tvN on September 14 at 9 p.m. KST, with new episodes airing every Monday and Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST.
