ALD1 Hits No. 2 on Oricon Daily Chart With Second Mini Album

K-POP group ALPHA DRIVE ONE(ALD1) has climbed to the top of Japan's major music charts.

The group's second mini album, "UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST," landed at No. 2 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking dated the 25th. It is the highest chart position for any rookie group that debuted this year.

The group also made a strong showing on streaming charts. Title track "BORN DIRE" hit No. 1 on LINE MUSIC's "K-POP Top 100" chart and No. 2 on the platform's real-time "New Song Top 100." The mini album reached No. 2 on LINE MUSIC's Daily Real-Time Album Ranking, Real-Time Top 100 Album Chart, and Daily Top 100 Album Chart. On Japan's iTunes, "BORN DIRE" ranked No. 1 on the K-Pop Top Songs chart, while the mini album placed No. 2 on the K-Pop Albums chart.

The music video for "BORN DIRE" has passed 10 million views on YouTube. It also entered iTunes' Music Video Trending Worldwide chart at No. 11 and the Japan chart at No. 3.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE appeared on Apple Music Radio to introduce the new record. The group also joined several broadcast and web programs, including SBS Power FM's "Park So-hyun's Love Game," tvN's "Amazing Saturday," and web variety shows "Donghaemulgwa Baekdueunhyeok" and "The Truman Show." Member Junseo took part as a reporter on MBC's "Live Today Morning."

The group's reach also extended into fashion. ALPHA DRIVE ONE fronted a digital cover for Marie Claire, while member Sangwon appeared in the August issue photo spread for Mnet Plus' "FANS' CHOICE FACE."
