EVAN's September Comeback: Eight Tracks Showcase His Solo Sound

K-pop soloist EVAN has released the final track samplers for his first mini-album, 'DEATH OF ME'.

The singer shared previews of 'Ride or Die' and 'Overflow' on his official social media accounts on Aug. 27. Snippets of all eight tracks on the album are now available.

Both songs first appeared on 'RIDE OR DIE', the digital single EVAN released on June 22 to mark his solo debut. He took the lead in writing, composing and producing both songs.

The 'Ride or Die' clip features a moving gear shift, illustrating the song's promise of staying together until the end. Its sound blends pop rock with hyperpop elements. The indie pop track 'Overflow' creates a quieter atmosphere through its guitar riff and vocals, while the video features an unsent letter referenced in the lyrics.

'DEATH OF ME' explores confronting complicated emotions and moving forward. The album includes the pop R&B title track 'Death of Me', 'Twilight', which draws on UK garage rhythms, the alternative rock song 'Immature' and the dream pop track 'Going Home'.

'DEATH OF ME' will be released on Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. KST.
