EVAN Wins Best All-Round Musician at 2026 K-World Dream Awards

K-POP soloist EVAN added a new trophy to a fast-moving debut year. The singer picked up the K-World Dream Best All-Round Musician prize at the 2026 K-World Dream Awards, held August 27 at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, just outside Seoul. The category honors artists who write, compose, and produce their own work.

"Thank you for this meaningful award," EVAN said in his acceptance speech. "I always draw inspiration from the endless love of our fans, EVER. I'll prepare the new album coming in September well and become an artist worthy of this recognition."

After accepting the trophy, he performed his debut single "Ride or Die" on the show's stage.

Released in June, "Ride or Die" hit No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in nine countries and regions. It also topped the weekly Korean chart on Tencent Music, one of China's largest streaming platforms. The single has now earned EVAN back-to-back wins, first at the Chinese-language ceremony 2026 TIMA and now at the K-World Dream Awards.

EVAN will keep the momentum going with his first mini-album, "DEATH OF ME," which he produced himself. The EP drops September 7 at 6 p.m. KST.
