KATSEYE's Sophia to Miss European, UK Tour Dates Amid Ongoing Treatment

KATSEYE member Sophia will not participate in the European and UK leg of the group's "THE WILDWORLD TOUR" as she continues to focus on her health and well-being.

HYBE x Geffen Records announced Aug. 30 that Sophia will sit out the tour's upcoming European and UK dates, scheduled from Sept. 1 through 17. The leg is set to begin in Dublin on Sept. 1.

"Sophia is focusing on her well-being, and the company remains fully committed to providing her with all the support and resources needed," the company said, adding that the health and long-term well-being of its artists remain its highest priority. Further updates will be provided as they become available.

Sophia also addressed fans through her Instagram Story on Aug 31, saying she had been undergoing treatment and was doing everything she could to recover.

"I can't express enough how much I want to participate in this tour and perform for you all," she wrote. "When I show up for you, I want you to get the best version of me."

She added that she has received "nothing but love and support" from the company, her fellow members and those around her, and said she looks forward to returning to the stage.

Sophia's participation in the tour's North American leg, which is scheduled to begin Oct. 13 in Miami, has not yet been confirmed.
