OH MY GIRL's Mimi Balances Solo Debut 'Bish Bash Bosh' With Variety Show Run

OH MY GIRL member Mimi is running her first solo release and a full variety show slate at the same time.

On the 20th, she dropped her first solo single, "Bish Bash Bosh," 11 years after her debut.

"Bish Bash Bosh" is a hip-hop track built on a breakbeat rhythm and a heavy bassline. Mimi handled the rap-making, lyrics, composition, and overall production herself.

On music show stages, she performed the song with a DJ set worked into the choreography. She also rolled out the dance through an official performance video and web content including "On the Spot."

The variety work has been just as steady. Mimi has appeared on tvN's "Universe Rice Cake Shop" (Ujuddeokjib) and "Amazing Saturday," along with web series "Momuk TV," "Jonathan," "Hawasu," and "Kkondaehee."

Her turn on "Universe Rice Cake Shop" has stood out. She joined the show as a sous chef, handling ingredient prep, order management, and dishwashing, while also pitching in on developing original menu items.

Together, the release and the TV run point to a wider push. Mimi is building a solo identity as both an artist and an on-screen personality, well beyond her role in the group.
