ATEEZ's Seonghwa Gains Attention for Unexpected Fan Interaction..."Pick Whichever One You Want"

ATEEZ' Seonghwa is gaining attention online after a small yet thoughtful interaction with a fan during an unexpected encounter on a train.

According to a post shared by an X user, a fan happened to encounter Seonghwa while traveling by train and asked the ATEEZ member for an autograph. However, when there was nothing readily available for him to sign, Seonghwa came up with a solution himself.

Rather than simply ending the interaction, Seonghwa opened his carry-on luggage and pulled out several postcards he had brought with him. Whether he had bought them during his travels or simply had them on hand is not known. He showed the selection to the fan and allowed them to choose whichever postcard they wanted before signing it.

The story was later shared online on behalf of the fan who had met Seonghwa, quickly drawing attention amongst fans for the unexpected personal gesture. In particular, fans were touched not just because Seonghwa agreed to give an autograph during his personal time off, but because he deliberately went out of his way to find something that could make the interaction possible. Others found the detail of him presenting several postcards and letting the fan choose their favorite especially endearing.

As the story spread, fans reacted with comments praising his consideration, with many describing the interaction as another example of Seonghwa's personality. International fans also began translating and reposting the anecdote, further spreading the story across fan communities.

The encounter has gained traction precisely because of its ordinary setting. Rather than taking place at an official fan signing event or in front of cameras, the brief interaction reportedly happened during an unexpected meeting while traveling, giving fans a glimpse of how Seonghwa seems to respond to those who recognize him outside of scheduled activities.
