FIFTY FIFTY's 'Cupid' Surpasses 1 Billion Spotify Streams

FIFTY FIFTY's "Cupid (Twin Version)" has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, more than three years after the song became a breakout hit worldwide.

According to ATTRAKT on Sept. 23, the English-language version of "Cupid" had accumulated 1,025,241,452 Spotify streams as of Sept. 22, placing the track in the platform's Billions Club. A commemorative plaque marking the milestone was presented on the same day.

"Cupid (Twin Version)" was released in February 2023 as part of the single album "The Beginning: Cupid." With English lyrics and an easy-listening arrangement distinct from the original version, the track quickly gained traction internationally.

The song went on to spend 25 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and 22 weeks on the U.K. Official Singles Chart, becoming one of the longest-charting K-pop songs on both rankings at the time.

More than three years after its release, "Cupid" continues to draw listeners on streaming platforms and remains FIFTY FIFTY's most widely streamed song.
