ALD1's Leo Reflects on Second EP and Music Career in Bazaar Interview

Rio of the boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (also known as ALD1) is showing a more mature side in a new photoshoot with Harper's Bazaar.

Harper's Bazaar released the shoot on Wednesday. The images move between Rio's boyish charm and a sharper, more polished mood, capturing several sides of the ALPHA DRIVE ONE member in one spread.

Rio wears a range of looks across the shoot, shifting his energy to match each concept. Bold expressions meet clean styling, and he carries each change with his own tone rather than leaning on the wardrobe.

The accompanying interview turned to his work as an artist. Asked how he felt about the group's second EP promotions, Rio said, "I feel satisfied because I can clearly see the parts where we've grown in a short time."

Looking back on his career so far, Rio pointed to "every moment I failed" as the most defining. "I really want to say that failure is the biggest lesson. I hope no one is afraid of failing. The reason I've made it this far is thanks to failures, big and small," he said.

Now that he has reached his dream of debuting, Rio said his next goal is longevity. "I want to do music for a long time. I hope that even as time passes, I'll still be doing music happily," he said.

ALPHA DRIVE ONE has drawn attention in fashion as well as music. The members have appeared on magazine covers and in editorials, building a steady presence in the industry alongside their releases.

The group has picked up a total of 15 wins at major domestic and international awards shows. ALPHA DRIVE ONE will release the music video for its follow-up track "Talk to me" on October 27.
